This hotel is a hidden gem inside the historic Hôtel de Ville building at a lovely square, offering clean and comfortable rooms with tiny but cozy spaces marked by ancient charm. The location is unbeatable within the old town of St Malo, providing a mesmerizing view of the city wall and the sea. Dining is a mixed bag with a beautiful ambiance but limited options. I stayed at this hotel on the 2nd floor, not directly facing the sea. The room was very nice, and I enjoyed the lively ground floor brasserie. However, considering the price paid for a superior room plus upgrade, it wasn't quite what I was expecting, but still a satisfactory stay despite the lack of a view due to my booking.
